I learned of the passing of Captain Al Lindroth passed away, April 11,2023. He owned the famous Capt Al party boat that sailed from Point Lookout, NY. He was a living legend in the fishing world. As he didn't have a website info can be found on Facebook.

A great legacy of a captain who competed the best of the era in his area. Many stories from his son Captain Bill who would pass along how they would outsmart the faster super cruisers. What many do not know that at one point, Captain Al had plans drawn up to extend the vessel, but he never went through with it...and looking back, it most likely was a very wise decision.

Notice the rental rods which were kept on the top deck just behind the wheelhouse...
