Today, Captain Scott Gold fished to the N of the Belmar inlet with a small group of people. We had gusty NW winds of 25 knots with a fast drift, but it did not stop us from catching plenty of stripers and blues!

We had a great day with the striped bass and blues catching more than 15 keeper stripers and lost quite a few too.

We had a few customers that limited out on stripers today with some great action. Also, the blue fishing was red hot with them ranging from 3-16 lbs.

Our pool winner was Tom Deshia from Trenton, NJ with a 16.3 lb blue.

It was another beautiful day aboard Miss Belmar today. Captain Lenny Forsyth stayed on the beach jigging N of our inlet.

We caught plenty of blues working with fish on top, along with top to bottom readings and a few stripers mixed in.

There were plenty of blues around and the striper fishing will only continue to get better here on out. Jan Blythe, Ray Berlin, Quinn Martino, Dino Zimnes along with his brother George, and the Bussiere Family from Romeo's Deli in Allentown, PA all had their limits.

Ann caught 4, Paul caught 6, Richard caught 4, Jim caught 5, Danielle caught 6 & Matthew caught 8. Dan Marantz caught a 16 lb striper.

Our pool winner was Darryl Covington from West Grove, PA with an 18 lb blue.
