Night Striped Bass Fishing
Captain Carl reports an EXCELLENT night of striped bass fishing on the Viking Starship! We started off fishing with jigs pre sun down and it was RED HOT fishing! Bass and blues were coming up all over the boat but it was mainly bass. We released quite a few shorts and boated a lot of keepers with some anglers limiting out the the first two drifts! The action stayed hot and heavy until the sun went down and it got dark. So, we switched over to the Live Eels and went in search of trophy bass....and found them too! The eels produced quite a few bass, all quality size from 15lbs up to 37! Many folks limited out and it was a great night of fishing. The winner of the pool was Jerry Giambanco from Manorville, NY who caught a 37lbs Striper.

Flood Chaser Special
Captain Ant reports a night of Trophies on the overnight bass trip. In total 5 fish over 40lbs, the largest going 45.2 caught by Mr Jon Rewinski of South Hampton.
The other moo cows were as follows: Thierry Lancino, from NYC caught a 44.1ber, Lennox Brown from Bayside caught a 42.5lbs bass, Jeff Johnson from Ronkonkoma who caught a 42lber and Joe Ferrara who caught a 41lber. Frank Guiness Stountenberg had his limit to 38lbs and Marty Wellen Dowd caught his first keeper of the year that weighed in at 31lbs. We had 6 other fish that topped 30lbs.We'll be doing another Deep Dark Special Monday at Midnight.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Carl reports that fishing slowed a little this afternoon. We did land a few keeper fluke, some Sea Bass and a Striped Bass.
Full Day Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports that fishing slowed a little today compared to the last few days. It was a picky trip but we did manage a good catch of porgies, Sea Bass and a couple of fluke. The winner of the pool was Pedro Jovianni from Hackensack, NJ who caught a 3.5lbs Porgy. The winner of the Edible pool was Peter Germanis from Bayside, NY who caught a 4lbs Fluke.
Full Day Bass and Blues Charter Update
Captain Ant reports insane bass and blue fishing on jigs today!!! Only halfway thru our charter and arms are weary.

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Carl reports a good morning of half day fishing on the Viking Starship. We had tons of action with some nice keepers coming over the rail. We also had some Sea Bass and Scup in the mix. We had a tie for first place in the pool between Jonathon Bragoli from Dix Hills and Gary Marks from Oceanside who both caught 3lbs Fluke. Click here for a photo of Stephanie's two keepers.
