On this rainy Mother's Day we at the NY RFHFA are continuing to inform the fishing public on the following updated regulatory changes, this time in the HMS fishery:

Adjustment to Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Angling Category Recreational Daily Retention Limit for 2019 (effective May 11, 2019)

Notice the changes for this season.

Second for those who do not already know (clickable links):
================================================

1- PERMIT SHOP for both obtaining the permit & REPORTING:

https://hmspermits.noaa.gov/

2- The 2019 Recreational Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Retention Limits went into effective the other day and one should always look at the most updated NEWS for relevant background info and explanations:

For those who do fish for BFT, I would highly suggest to print this information out and tuck it away in a secure place on your vessel.
