That's great 15 BSB in Fed waters BUT what happens when you cross into State waters?

Won't you get nailed by the PO PO then?

Mike, that has been an extremely burdensome issue with species which are caught in federal waters, 'BUT' the over-ridding provisions are in obeying:

- What the STATE allows you to legal land which is what essentially you can 'harvest' (possession - kept)

Thus you have the proviso noted in either a GARFO or state regulation by "following the more restrictive regulations" which is akin to the old saying when driving, "that you may live in one state, but you have to obey the laws of the state you are driving within."

Of course our fishery regulators have made the whole process on-par with medicaid billing where you have a disjointed number of rules that must be followed. As an example, on winter flounder for recreational fishermen there is NO limit on possession, yet in the northern region states from NJ to southern MA., a possession limit of only two fish.

Be guided by the laws of the state you LAND your fish in.....
