Who said it was going to be nasty.....yesterday?

A buttercup of a winter day as Captain Jeff sailed off to the eastern frontier for our favorite fish, cod. Captain Joe of the KING COD was to the east of us as we settled in and scoped out, or shall I say prospected before the latest weather-misery was to set down upon us.

Captain Bill pulled out the big boy of the day amongst all the heavy hitters at the rail and I did get a chance to break out my Ralph Rodwinder - Ultra Custom rods, one rigged up and at the ready for the 'Bostonians' which sadly we did not see during the trip.

Few of us could not believe how nice a day it turned out to be with the sun shinning, no gloves needed and a mix of multi-species coming up during the day. Boy, we are going to miss doing this for awhile!
