I think Captain Mike (Togmaster) had one a little over 7 pounds last year in Montauk also. I think he was also looking into the record for it. Believe it was on Harveys boat the Soaker.

Honestly, I still hate the damn things. I think the guard of the boat I worked on still has a permanent dent in it from me spiking countless numbers of annoying perch off of it. Other than that, they made a nice trip bait for ling and were a good live line bait for big blues.........but that's about all their worth to me.
