Hey everyone,

The Ward Melville High School Fishing Club would like to invite anglers between the ages of 5 and 20 to take advantage of a free tackle giveaway at our upcoming expo on March 6th 2016 (see flyer and our website for more info)

What will happen is that the more workshops and seminars that you attend, the more stamps you will receive on your "checklist" sheet. This will entitle you to some free gear.

Make sure to check out our club website www.wardmelvillefishingclub.com and locate the link for Youth Tackle Giveaway as over the next few months, specific sponsored tackle and the amounts we will have of them will be listed on our website. Quantities will be limited and we hope to be able to get as many free goodies for all that come and support our event.

All youth anglers, ages 5 to 20 have a real opportunity at this upcoming expo on March 6th....

Free Tackle Giveaway!!!

There will be our normal slate of seminars offered on various aspects to the saltwater fishing. This year we will also be hosting several youth orientated hands on workshops as well.

All youth anglers have the opportunity to go home with a bag full of loot. From Spro ultra light weight bucktails, to packs of hooks onto much, much more youth anglers sitting in on the seminars or participating in the workshops are eligible for the tackle giveaway.

Lots more specifics to come as we get closer to the event.

Youth Angler Giveaway

The Ward Melville HS Fishing club is extremely proud to announce that plans are in the works for a free tackle giveaway for attending youth (5 year old to 20 year old) anglers that participate in the various seminars and or workshops that we will be hosting.

Quantities will be limited and we are very excited to give back to other, non club member youth anglers that will be taking advantage of a great day of learning about something we have a true love for: Fishing

There will be a WMHS Fishing Club member stationed at each of the seminars as well as the following. You should see them for your stamp.

We are proud to announce that we as a club are donating 100 packs of hooks to the giveaway. Gamakatsu hooks in all various sizes.

All Kids who simply show up will receive these before you even attend a workshop!

Youth Anglers will have the opportunity to earn the following items. For all but the shirts, there are 50 of each.

bucktail jigs
seabass/codfish rigs
fluke rigs
striped bass rigs
wobble head jigs
Camo White Water Hats
various fishing major brand name shirts in different sizes

HOW THIS ALL WORKS

All youth anglers (ages 5 to 20) should visit the Youth Tackle Giveaway Table (located outside the GYM) and collect their Spro Bucktail and Sticker Prize. They should then pick up an expo day brochure. These brochures will have a large listing of all seminars and workshops at the show. Youth anglers should would now need to attend the various seminars and workshops. At the completion of a workshop or seminar, a stamp will be given by a WARD MELVILLE HIGH SCHOOL FISHING CLUB MEMBER. Each stamp gets you are prize. You need to turn in your brochure at the end of your day to claim your prizes. A maximum of 6 prizes can be gained by any youth angler. Your choice of prize and prizes are limited to the amounts listed above.
