Thanks for starting the list Dan, and I guess we are letting the cat out of the bag on the 'new' CELTIC QUEST.

YANKS built for Gerry Nappi, and one of the prettiest and fastest boats to come into the Bay over the last four decades. Both Desi, Paul and the rest of the Celtic Quest crew are getting her ready for Montauk codfishing this winter.

Dan,
You can count me in as very interested. I would probably get another guy also, so you can put me in for 2 spots. Have to check the calendar to finalize. Many thanks, Mike

Why does tackle need to be included? Most of the guys around here are probably partial to their own rigs as am I. I already have my own stuff and I would think that others would'nt really benefit. I would suggest including the tip instead of the tackle. After the fair is decided tack on $15 a man so the mates are guaranteed their $200 each. Just my 2 cents. And if there are a few rookies I'm almost positive their will be enough guys who will share their tackle.

Nick I think Dan was trying to point out that tackle and $$$-LEAD-$$$ was included in there fare compared to other who may charge for it.

I really wouldn't call 35 "comfortable" on a boat that size. Not trying to discourage anyone here, but I fished on a 65' last winter up there with 25 and if you added 10 more it would have been a nightmare.

Nick Thanks for the input.
I was on the boat today and believe me it will fish 35 very comfortably. All the guys and gal on this trip are experienced fishermen. I do not see any problems. I dont know the exact size of the boat, but it is much bigger and wider than the boat they have now. ANd we have plenty of room to fish on that boat with 30+ on it.
