sounds like a great trip...a shame the weather wasn't perfect but from the photos looks like the kids still had a great time...hopefully they understand that the weather isn't always like that and continue to fish :D
we are the people our parents warned us about!!!

Many, many and many more thanks to those who attended.

For the last 25 years I fished in every ocean except the Indian. The focus was always catch as many fish possible.

This is the first trip in a long time where the expeirence was the focus. The kids were gracious and kept us on our toes. It was great see myself and crew respond to such wonderful group. It was our pleasure to serve you.

I have no doubt this type of trip will become a fixture on our schedule for years to come.

I hope you can attend again.

Warm regards,

Greg

Great recap Steve! Too bad you had to battle some traffic and then weather. By the looks of the pictures, it seems all involved had a nice time.

That picture of Nick with the hat and the Newell under his arm is classic! I wonder where he gets it from?

Wow,
What a report!! Did the adults manage to fish at all with all the pics taken? Good to see the smiles on the future sharpies faces. EC, CT got hammered last week with thunderstorms and one confirmed tornado in fact one of our local tackle shops took a beating. Luckily you guys did not encounter that.

Wow…Sorry I was not there. From the looks of it all, everyone had a great time and the kids had a wonderful experience.

Capt. Greg… GREAT JOB and that certificate was a great gesture! The kids will cherish it for a very long time!

Special kudos must also go out to the entire crew! Steve, BRAVO - You did it again! :D

Here is the bucket in question:

Image

Best jig bucket I have ever seen.....I would buy one! I believe a full 5 gallon pail.

This would be something that some guy could market. Very functional.

Cool, thanks, I'm making one out of a 3 1/2 gallon one (should fit under the benches on the Capts)
I jig with the light tackle (5 & 6 oz) they fit in the bucket great
